Upon seeing the By Jongerius® The frame's unique design immediately catches the eye. Because we developed this frame entirely as a belt drive bike, we decided to eliminate the vulnerable removable block for mounting the belt drive and raise the chainstays. Thanks to the higher chainstays, the belt drive now runs underneath the chainstays, significantly improving the frame's stability.

The 2.3 kg aluminum frame is smooth-welded and features numerous brazed mounting points, providing ample space for attaching racks, bottle cages, or bags.

Thanks to its numerous mounting points, this frame is also ideal for bikepacking. We deliberately chose to route all cables externally so that if a brake line or gear cable breaks during a long trip, you can easily replace it yourself. The frame is ISO-4210 tested, so you can be sure it will remain in top condition even under heavy loads.

The By Jongerius® The fork is made of aluminum with an extra-strong steel tapered steerer tube. Uniquely, we've given the steel steerer tube the same thickness as an aluminum steerer tube for added strength. This fork is also extra long for a comfortable, upright riding position. The steerer tube can be shortened as desired for a more sporty riding position.

Furthermore, the front fork has a 15mm x 110 thru axle for extra strength and mounting points for lowriders, roof racks, or water bottle cages directly on the front fork. Thanks to the 45-degree anti-rotation feature, your bike will always remain securely in place when parking with front racks. On the By Jongerius® You get a 5-year warranty on the front fork.

By Jongerius hand-spoked wheels

Strong wheels are very important for a bicycle for intensive use, which is why we install the extra strong By Jongerius® wheels with rims produced in the Netherlands.

These hand-spoked wheels with extra-wide 26mm (tubeless-ready) rims are suitable for a load of up to 200 kg (rider weight + bike weight + luggage weight). The spoke holes on these hand-spoked wheels are drilled at precisely the right angle to the hub, so the rear rim is drilled at a different angle than the front rim, minimizing spoke breakage.

We also use special Alpina spoke nipples, which are coated with a locking compound to prevent the spokes from vibrating loose under extreme loads. Another unique feature is the choice between 27.5-inch wheels with 62 mm tires or 28-inch wheels with 50, 55, or 57 mm tires.

For our GravL model, we also offer a lightweight rim suitable for 40 or 45mm tires. This higher-profile rim can handle a total load of 120 kg.

The By Jongerius® The TravL Carrier is made of extra-strong CrMo steel, but the mounting points and pannier rails are made of stainless steel, preventing them from rusting if they are damaged by the hooks on your pannier.

The Jongerius TravL Carrier has lower positioned pannier racks but also an extra long and wide top surface (12 cm wide) so you can easily combine luggage on top of the carrier and panniers.

In terms of stability, the Jongerius TravL carrier is even more stable than the well-known Tubus luggage carriers. The Jongerius TravL Carrier is approved for up to 26 kg but has been tested with a load of 40 kg.

As avid holiday cyclists, many people find it annoying that a standard headlight mount is often too short. This causes the headlight to shine against the front panniers on the lowrider instead of onto the road, a problem we also encountered at Jongerius.

When designing our By Jongerius® We didn't just focus on the length of the headlight bracket; we also wanted it to be the strongest one currently available. That's why we chose to make it from extra-strong stainless steel, which prevents the headlight from vibrating during adventurous rides. The sturdy headlight bracket ensures the light always shines over the front panniers, directing it precisely where you want it.

The By Jongerius stainless steel headlight bracket is powder-coated in matte black and beautifully features a laser-etched Jongerius logo. You get a 5-year warranty on the By Jongerius® headlight bracket.

Mudguards

Because it rains frequently in the Netherlands, good mudguards are essential for a good trekking bike. Because we noticed that many mudguards often offer insufficient protection against rainwater, we developed them in collaboration with Sks Germany. By Jongerius® extra long mudguards developed.

These attractive By Jongerius mudguards are 7 cm longer at the bottom (both front and rear) and extend 4 cm further at the front, preventing annoying splashing of rainwater. All stainless steel fasteners are also powder-coated in matte black for a sleek look. You get a 5-year warranty on the By Jongerius® mudguards.

adjustable rear dropouts

For the Jongerius TravL models (TravL Rohloff, TravL Rohloff Pendix and the TravL Pinion) and the GravL models (GravL Rohloff and GravL Pinion) we have opted for adjustable By Jongerius® rear dropouts to tension the Gates Beltdrive.

For these models, instead of using M5 or M6 bolts, which are normally used for mounting the rear dropouts, we have opted for extra thick stainless steel M8 bolts for greater strength. By Jongerius® Sanded stainless steel protective plates under these bolts ensure that your paintwork is not damaged when tensioning the belt drive and give the bike a beautiful appearance.

A new upgrade is the integration with the Knog Scout Bikefinder. The Knog Scout is a motion-detecting alarm for your bicycle or e-bike. This is ideal if your bike is parked next to your tent while you're sleeping, but also handy if you're parking your bike at a shop.

A loud alarm will sound as soon as your bike moves, and you can also track your bike using the Find My iPhone feature on your phone. You can adjust the sensitivity of this motion detection in the Knog Scout app. As soon as your iPhone is near the Knog Scout, you can deactivate the alarm with a single press of a button.

The integration with our Texlock lock holder allows us to securely attach the Knog Scout using special lock screws.
