For the Jongerius e-bikes with a Pinion gearbox, we've chosen the Alber Neodrives Z20 rear-wheel motor. This German-made rear-wheel motor is quieter and more powerful (thanks to the direct torque to the rear wheel) than most mid-drive motors from competing brands.

An added benefit of this rear-wheel motor is its longer lifespan than, for example, a Bosch or Shimano e-bike system. Compared to a mid-drive motor, there's also significantly less wear and tear on the drivetrain, and you can still cycle smoothly with the motor assist.

THE NEODRIVES Z20 REAR-WHEEL MOTOR

The Alber Neodrives Z20 motor is a very powerful and especially quiet motor which we combine as standard with a 625 or 725 Wh intube battery.

The key features of the Neodrives motor include 40 Nm of torque, 250 watts of power, and acceleration from 0 to 100% in just 3 seconds! You can also benefit from energy recovery when descending in hilly terrain.

The Neodrives Z20 motor has a standard walk function (up to 6 km/h) which you can use if you have to ride the bike up a hill or out of an underground bicycle shed.

Renewed simply remote control and app

New is the Neodrives Simply remote. This waterproof handlebar-mounted remote can be combined with the Neodrives Simply Ride app on your phone, the Sigma Eox View 1300 bike computer, or the deluxe Sigma Rox 12.1 bike computer with navigation. But you can also use the Simply remote without a bike computer or phone.

On the Simply remote you can see how full the battery is, the selected support level, you can increase or decrease the support, switch the lights on or off and activate the walk function up to 6 km/h

The walk function of the Neodrives Simply remote works as follows:

(1) Press and hold the + button for 3 seconds until the green lights start flashing. (2) Then briefly release the + button. (3) Then immediately continue holding the + button for the duration you want to use the walk function. (4) As soon as you start walking, the motor will assist up to the speed you've selected (pre-selected via the app).

With the Neodrives Simply Ride app, you can see your battery level on your phone, as well as information like your daily distance, total distance, and speed. You can also customize the riding modes via this app.

THE SIGMA EOX VIEW 1300 BIKE COMPUTER

The new Sigma EOX View 1300 bike computer, available as an option for this bike, is fully equipped. For example, you can see information like battery charge and the selected support level for the e-bike system.

All important functions such as speed, average speed, daily distance, total distance, driving time, clock and an illuminated screen are also present.

With the EOX app you can customize the functions to your liking and thanks to the connection with Komoot you can use the turn-by-turn navigation.

THE NEODRIVES SIMPLY DISPLAY

The Neodrives Simply Display is a new display from Neodrives and will be available from spring 2025

The Neodrives Simply display is a fixed display (not removable) that offers a high degree of customizability.

The display comes with a Y-cable mounted between the existing Simply remote.

The display, which you can largely customize to your liking, shows you a wealth of information such as daily distance, total distance, wattage delivered, range, etc.

Another nice feature is that you can view the values driven per day.

THE SIGMA ROX 12.1 BIKE COMPUTER WITH NAVIGATION

Want to go all-out for luxury and enjoy full GPS navigation combined with all the bike computer features of the Sigma Eox 1300 view? Then choose the new Sigma ROX 12.1 evo bike computer.

With map navigation, the ROX 12.1 EVO finds the best route for you and easily guides you to your destination. It also connects to both Strava and Komoot.

Crash detection: In the event of an accident, the Rox 12.1 detects a fall and gives you 30 seconds to confirm you're okay. If not, your emergency contacts are automatically notified via SMS through the Sigma Ride app, and your GPS location is transmitted.

The Sigma Rox has an internal battery that lasts approximately 10-14 hours and can be charged via a USB-C cable.

The Sigma Rox 12.1 Evo coupling with Neodrives is expected to be available from mid-early 2026.

DOWNLOAD THE NEODRIVES SIMPLYRIDE APP

In addition to the choice of various displays for the Neodrives system, you can always use the user-friendly Neodrives SimplyRide App.

The Neodrives SimplyRide app lets you adjust the motor support for each support level individually, adjust the maximum support speed downwards, update the software, and check when the bike is due for maintenance.

You can easily adjust the five preset power levels via the app. These are set to 20, 40, 60, 80, or 100% power levels by default, but you can customize them to your preference. For example, setting power level 1 to 10% gives you twice the range compared to the default 20% power level for power level 1.

You can also use the Neodrives SimplyRide app as an alternative to a display/bike computer. The app displays information such as speed, daily distance, total distance, ride time, maximum speed, average speed, motor power, battery charge, and estimated range.
