COME WORK AT JONGERIUS HANDMADE BICYCLES

At Jongerius, we build and design the most beautiful bicycles and e-bikes ourselves, all in our workshop in Vleuten. Unique to our bikes is that our customers can customize their bike to their exact specifications, in any RAL color and with any finish. 

We also repair and maintain Jongerius bicycles in our own workshop. The bikes we sell and repair are often equipped with the finest and most luxurious components from brands such as Gates, Pinion, Rohloff, Son, Magura, Pendix, and Neodrives.

What are we looking for:

Have you finished secondary school, are you technically minded, and want to start a vocational training program so you can go to school one day a week and work with us three or four days a week? Then we're looking for you!

You'll start working with us as an Apprentice Bicycle Mechanic/Bike Builder (BBL), where we'll teach you how to build bicycles and perform maintenance and repairs on our Jongerius bikes. Besides building bicycles, you'll work with e-bikes, and we'll also teach you how to read e-bikes on a computer. You'll also help advise our customers during busy periods and at trade shows.

What do we offer you:

A workplace where you'll work with the finest products and the best tools in a sector with a bright future and a job guarantee due to the significant shortage of bicycle mechanics. We also offer a competitive salary and attractive perks. Working days are Tuesday (morning), Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. On one of these days, you'll attend training at a university, such as Innovam or a Regional Training Center (ROC). You'll be working in a small but friendly team, building our bicycles alongside John and Roan.

Our company is beautifully situated in Maximapark (Vleuten), and our modern workshop is equipped with underfloor heating and air conditioning. It's an ideal workplace for learning the trade of bicycle mechanic/builder.

What are we looking for:

If you have at least 2 years of experience as a bicycle mechanic, we are looking for you!

You'll be working with us as a Bicycle Mechanic/Bike Builder, building the finest high-end bicycles and e-bikes using components from Rohloff, Gates, Pinion, Pendix, Neodrives, Son, Magura, etc.

You'll also help advise our customers (who visit our test center by appointment) on how to put together their dream bike. You'll also participate in our trade fairs where we present our new products to our customers.
