The Jongerius TravL Rohloff Pendix e-bike is ready for your journey around the world. It's also perfect for your daily commute to town or work. Thanks to the Gates belt drive and Rohloff 14-speed hub, this bike is very easy to maintain.

Customize this bike to your liking, in your favorite color and with the components you desire. After your bike is assembled, a single mechanic will assemble it completely to your specifications in our workshop in Vleuten.

The high-quality paintwork on our bikes is done at the same paint shop where several other major premium cycling teams have their bikes painted. Our bikes also feature unique hydroformed decals (in the same color as the bike), which allow the decals to blend seamlessly with the paint and become a tangible part of the design.

Cycling without extra resistance from the motor

This TravL Pendix e-bike version is identical to the normal Jongerius TravL Rohloff bicycle, only equipped with support via the silent and very powerful 65Nm Pendix eDrive motor.

The unique thing about this motor is that there are no mechanical parts in the motor, which means that this motor lasts many years longer than other e-bike systems. Furthermore, the engine is one of the quietest mid-engines currently available.

The most important argument for choosing the Jongerius TravL Rohloff Pendix is that the Pendix eDrive motor has no internal resistance when the engine is switched off, so you can also easily choose to cycle a large part of your ride with the engine, which is often not possible with many other systems (Bosch & Shimano Steps).

The Pendix eDrive system

The updated Jongerius Pendix eDrive mid-motor is very quiet and, with its 65 newton-meter torque, also very powerful. The system offers three support levels, easily adjusted with the dial on top of the battery.

In Eco mode, the motor amplifies your pedaling force by 75%, in Smart mode, the motor amplifies your pedaling force by 150%, and in Power mode, your pedaling force is amplified by as much as 200%.

The Jongerius Pendix is available in two versions: one with a 300 Wh battery and one with a 500 Wh battery. Both versions offer the same power, with only a difference in battery capacity. A 500 Wh battery allows you to ride more kilometers than the 300 Wh version.

Using the Pendix.pro app, you can customize the support levels to suit your needs. For example, you can set the support level so low that it only compensates for the weight of your luggage and the additional weight of the e-bike system.

Because there is currently no reliable battery lock for the popular Pendix batteries, we at Jongerius Handmade Bicycles decided to develop a reliable and, above all, user-friendly battery lock ourselves.

After months of development and testing, it is By Jongerius® The Pendix battery lock was created. The strong stainless steel Jongerius Pendix battery lock can be retrofitted to your existing Pendix battery rails.

With our new By Jongerius® Pendix battery cap protects the contact points of your Pendix battery from moisture and dirt when you park the bike in the rain or transport it on the back of the bike carrier.

The By Jongerius® The Pendix battery cap can be used in conjunction with the By Jongerius Pendix battery lock to prevent the cap from being stolen. The cap also fits without the battery lock and is compatible with all other bicycle brands equipped with a Pendix motor.

We supply the cap as standard complete with a holder so that you can easily take the cap with you when the battery is mounted on the bike.

The By Jongerius® The Pendix USB protector prevents dirt and moisture from entering the USB charging port of your Pendix battery. The battery ring also provides protection because the soft material is less likely to scratch or dent your frame when removing the battery.

You can choose between a white version where you can still see the colored illuminated ring of your battery or a black version where you can still read the color and status of your battery charge at the top of the battery.

The black version is also very handy if you want to charge the battery in your tent at night during a cycling holiday but don't like the brightly lit ring of the Pendix battery disturbing your sleep.

Choose the best disc brakes from Fahrwerker

Want the best disc brakes on your bike? Then choose the F2000 disc brakes from the German brand Fahrwerker.

At Fahrwerker they have chosen not to work with a 4-piston brake system but with a more maintenance-friendly, extra-large 2-piston brake caliper.

Thanks to the 2 brake pistons with a diameter of no less than 28 mm, the brake pistons have a larger surface area than brakes from other brands with a 4-piston brake system.

The 2 mm thick stainless steel Fahrwerker brake discs, which are available in 180 or 200 mm, have a braking surface of no less than 20 mm high.

The ultimate holiday bike

Upon first seeing the bike, the unique frame immediately catches your eye. Because we developed this model entirely as a belt-drive bike, we decided to eliminate the vulnerable removable block for mounting the belt drive and raise the chainstays. Thanks to the higher chainstays (elevated chainstays), the belt drive now runs underneath the chainstays, significantly improving frame stability.

The 2.3kg aluminium frame is smooth welded and features plenty of brazed-on mounting points, providing ample space for attaching racks, bottle cages or bags.

Thanks to its numerous mounting points, this frame is also ideal for bikepacking. We deliberately chose to route all cables externally so that if a brake line or gear cable breaks during a long trip, you can easily replace it yourself. The frame is ISO-4210 tested, so you can be sure it will remain in top condition under heavy loads.

We developed the By Jongerius fork ourselves. It's made of aluminum, but features an extra-thick steel tapered steerer tube for added strength. The fork is equipped with mounting points for a Tubus Duo lowrider, but you can also choose to mount bottle cages, roof racks, or panniers on these mounting points.

The fork is Boost for extra strength and features 15mm thru axles. Because the fork is tapered (1.5 inches), we can use larger headset bearings, which maintain their integrity even under heavy loads. The headset also features a 65-degree travel limiter, preventing the handlebars from tipping too far when carrying heavy luggage.

Strong wheels are essential for a bike designed for intensive use, so we've fitted this model with extra-strong By Jongerius wheels. These hand-spoked wheels with extra-wide 26mm (tubeless-ready) rims are suitable for a load of up to 200 kg (rider weight + bike weight + luggage weight).

These hand-spoked wheels have spoke holes drilled at precisely the right angle to the hub, so unlike the front rim, the rear rim minimizes spoke breakage. We also use special Alpina spoke nipples with locking compound to prevent the spokes from vibrating loose under extreme loads.

Unique to this model is the choice between 27.5-inch wheels with 62 mm tires or 28-inch wheels with 50 or 55 mm tires.

We've also opted for top-quality lighting. The hub dynamo is an extra-smooth-running Son hub dynamo that delivers full power even at low speeds. The Son hub dynamo is a Boost version with a 15mm thru-axle, and you can choose from black, silver, blue, or red at no extra cost. The headlight is the Son Edelux 11, which has a light output of 100 lux and is also available in four colors.

The attractive, compact rear light in your favorite color is also from Son. The lights are equipped with high-quality Son coaxial cables, both front and rear.

You can choose from three mounting options for the headlight. We can mount the headlight to the stem, which gives it a rugged look, but doesn't allow for a handlebar bag. You can choose a standard stainless steel headlight bracket on the front fork, or the new extra-long By Jongerius stainless steel headlight bracket. This black powder-coated bracket is extra strong and extra long, ensuring it shines clearly over your panniers. It also features a laser-etched Jongerius logo.

The Jongerius TravL Rohloff Pendix e-bike is available with a men's frame up to 70 cm or with a sporty unisex mixed frame up to 65 cm.

Because every Jongerius Handmade Bicycle is unique, you can choose the frame color of this premium bike yourself. We've compiled a selection of 46 beautiful colors for you to choose from. Thanks to the latest Magura MT5 brakes with dual caliper pistons and 180mm rotors, you'll always come to a safe stop. We've chosen to equip this bike with the ultra-reliable Gates CDX belt drive, so you'll need minimal maintenance during extreme use.

This bike comes standard with an extra-strong By Jongerius rear rack with Son lighting. This steel rack with stainless steel pannier racks is suitable for loads of up to 40 kilos. You can also equip this bike with Tubus logo lowriders on the front for an additional fee.
