Jongerius specializes in building your ultimate touring bike. From our workshop in Vleuten, we design, develop, and build the most beautiful touring bikes, completely customized to your needs.

In addition to holiday bikes, our range includes sports bikes, e-bikes, gravel bikes, and we also build extra-large bikes for cyclists from 195 to 215 cm tall.

We also develop our own frames, forks, hand-spoked By Jongerius wheels, and other high-quality components under the By Jongerius brand. These components meet the highest quality standards.

HOLIDAY CYCLING WITH ROHLOFF HUB AND GATES BELT DRIVE

We build the most beautiful touring bikes with a low-maintenance Rohloff 14-speed hub and a carbon Gates belt drive. Our handcrafted bikes are perfect for your world trip, your daily commute, or a weekend bike ride.

You can choose from any RAL color, the type of stickers, and also all components such as the width and type of tires, the type of handlebars, stem, saddle, seatpost, luggage rack, lighting, etc.

BICYCLES WITH PINION GEARBOX AND GATES BELT DRIVE

In addition to touring bikes with Rohloff hubs, we have a fine selection of touring bikes with a Pinion Gearbox. With a Pinion Gearbox, the gears are not in the rear wheel, but in the center of the bike at the bottom bracket. You do need a special frame with mounting points for the gearbox. 

The Pinion Gearbox is available in several versions, offering a choice of 9, 12, or even 18 gears. All of this is integrated into a closed system for easy maintenance, offering almost the same range of gears as a derailleur system. 

Just like all Jongerius bicycles, our Pinion models can be fully customized and are hand-built in the Netherlands.

E-BIKES WITH PENDIX MID-MOTOR AND ROHLOFF HUB

Want to cycle sportily, but always with a tailwind? Then the Pendix Edrive system is ideal for you.

The Pendix mid-drive motor turns your bike into an e-bike. The Pendix motor works in conjunction with a Rohloff hub and can be installed directly upon purchase, or later, by us. It fits all our models with Rohloff hubs.

The great thing about the Pendix mid-motor is that it has no internal gears or the like, because it is a DirectDrive electric motor you can cycle lightly both with and without the motor support without experiencing extra resistance.

E-BIKES WITH PINION AND NEODRIVES REAR-WHEEL MOTOR

If you're looking for an e-bike with a silent, direct and powerful motor, the combination of a Pinion Gearbox with a Neodrives Z20 rear-wheel motor is ideal.

The silent Alber Neodrives motor is made in Germany and accelerates from 0 to 100% in just 3 seconds. The battery on the Neodrives models is also neatly integrated into the frame (it is removable for charging).

The Pinion Gearbox allows the gears to be placed in the middle and the Neodrives motor to be placed in the rear wheel.

VISIT OUR TEST CENTER IN VLEUTEN BY APPOINTMENT

At the Jongerius Test Center in Vleuten, you can experience how a Jongerius bike rides by appointment (on our nearly 8-kilometer-long test track). You can also view and touch all the possibilities, colors, and options while enjoying a cup of coffee.

You will also find the workshop here where we build our bicycles by hand and where you can go for service and maintenance after purchasing a bicycle or e-bike.

At Jongerius Handmade Bicycles, we custom-build your dream bike in Vleuten. Besides choosing your favorite color and all the components you want, such as the saddle, seatpost, handlebars, stem, and more, you also choose the color of the stickers and hubs. We use the best components from well-known brands like Schwalbe, Son, Ergon, Terry, Brooks, Tubus, and Gates. We also develop many of our own high-quality Jongerius components.
