Planning a cycling holiday but don't want to buy an expensive bike with all the gear? We offer the option of renting a luxury Jongerius bike, including a complete Ortlieb pannier set, a USB charger via the hub dynamo, a phone holder, and two new water bottles. This way you can first see whether a new cycling holiday including complete equipment really suits you. 

If you want to rent a travel bike, we advise you first by appointment to visit our test center so that we can discuss all your wishes together and see if our rental bikes fit you in terms of size (please check in advance whether the desired period is still available before making an appointment). 

Due to increased demand during the holiday periods, we recommend reserving your bike in advance. The minimum rental period is one week.

JONGERIUS TRAVL ROHLOFF BELTDRIVE

Our rental bike is the Jongerius TravL Rohloff Beltdrive. This sporty touring bike has a low-maintenance Rohloff 14-speed hub and a Gates belt drive.

You can choose between the unisex or men's frame and the bike is equipped with an extra strong luggage carrier and also a lowrider front carrier. 

Our rental bikes are also equipped with extra strong hand-spoked wheels and wide 55 mm Schwalbe tires for extra comfort and light handling. 

Thanks to the Magura hydraulic disc brakes with dual pistons, you always come to a safe stop. The bike is also equipped with luxury Son lighting featuring a Son hub dynamo and USB charger.

Rent a travel bike Including Ortlieb bicycle bags

If you rent a touring bike through Jongerius, we'll deliver it with a complete Ortlieb pannier set. This set includes two waterproof rear panniers with a 20-liter capacity each, two waterproof front panniers with a 12.5-liter capacity each, and a waterproof handlebar bag with a 7-liter capacity.

Thanks to the extra strong Jongerius TravL carrier, you also have the option of attaching a tent, sleeping bag or similar item on top of the bags.

Affordable choice

If you want to rent a bike for longer than 3 weeks, we charge 150 euros per additional week.


For transport of your rental bike (for a fee) to and from France, Northern and Central Spain, Northern and Central Portugal, Italy, and Scandinavia, we recommend contacting Camino Fietstransport: https://camino-fietstransport.nl

Insurance throughout Europe available at an additional cost.

You can rent the bike for 19.95 euros extra per week insure through us. The deductible per claim is then 249 euros.

Or you can choose to take out travel insurance yourself with baggage coverage up to 4,999 euros (this is possible via Interpolis, among others).

The coverage of our theft and damage insurance is valid throughout Europe, including Norway, Iceland, Switzerland and the United Kingdom*.

In the event of theft, you must be able to produce the original key and a police report within 7 days; otherwise, theft is at your own risk.

All practical matters in a row:

We always deliver the bike complete with front and rear Ortlieb panniers, handlebar bag, USB charger, phone holder and 2 new water bottles. For the USB charger on our bicycles, you need a telephone or Garmin charging cable with a USB A connection.

Picking up and returning the rental bike in Vleuten (Utrecht) is possible on*:

Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This is not possible on public holidays

You must bring the 250 euro deposit in cash when picking up!

*The minimum rental period is 1 week
Theft and damage are at the renter's own risk (4,999 euros in case of total loss).
Or you can insure the bike through us for an extra 19.95 euros per week (the deductible is then 249 euros). 
*We expect the bicycle to be returned in the same condition as when you picked it up.

We ask that you only reserve a bike if you are certain the rental can go ahead. If you cancel within three weeks of the rental start date, you will be charged 50% of the total rental price.
