Because the Pendix battery only has a ring as standard to secure the battery with a chain lock, we at Jongerius Handmade Bicycles started working on developing our own By Jongerius Pendix battery lock so that you do not have to secure the battery with a separate chain lock, but the lock is integrated into the battery rails for optimal ease of use.

This way you prevent your expensive Pendix battery from being stolen during a stop at your favorite terrace or during a visit to the supermarket.

Although the Pendix systems are extremely popular, there wasn't yet a reliable battery lock for the batteries they came with. That's why we at Jongerius Handmade Bicycles decided to develop our own reliable and, above all, user-friendly battery lock.

After months of development and testing, the By Jongerius Pendix battery lock was created. This sturdy stainless steel lock complements the Pendix design and allows you to lock your battery in an instant. The By Jongerius Pendix battery lock can be retrofitted to your existing Pendix battery rails or ordered with your new Jongerius bike equipped with a Pendix mid-motor.

The By Jongerius Pendix battery lock is available now. Because professional installation is required, we only supply the lock with installation included at our workshop in Vleuten.

The price including professional installation is 129 euros
