Sp-Connect E-cap wireless phone charger for your e-bike
Because you can choose to use your phone as a display on both our Jongerius Pinion Neodrives e-bike and the Jongerius Pinion MGU e-bike, the need arose for a phone charger for the bike.
More and more cyclists are also using their phones for navigation, using apps like Komoot or Strava. This can sometimes drain your phone's battery.
We are therefore proud of our partnership with SP-Connect, which now offers the option of charging your phone wirelessly via your e-bike battery.
Please note: for this option your phone must have a wireless charging function!

The SP-Connect e-cap can now be selected as an option when purchasing your e-bike.

Thanks to the By Jongerius handlebar mount, which we 3D print ourselves, your phone sits perfectly in the center of your handlebars, while still allowing you to mount a handlebar bag or other accessories.
The handlebar mount is designed to allow you to tilt your phone manually, preventing sunlight or light from shining on your screen.
Use the wireless charging module in combination with a phone case
If you choose to add the wireless charging module to your e-cap, you can charge your phone wirelessly at a speed of up to 10 watts with a matching SP-Connect phone case.
You will need a suitable SP-Connect phone case for your phone, which is not included as standard but can be ordered for almost any type of phone.
You can then easily screw the SP-Connect case onto the wireless charging module in an instant.
If you would like to use your own phone case or no case at all, choose the universal phone clamp shown below.

Prefer to use your own case or no case at all? Then choose the universal wireless charging clamp from SP-Connect. It's easy to install by rotating it 90 degrees onto the E-cap.
With this universal holder you can clamp your phone securely with the rotary knob on the right side of the holder.
This universal phone holder also charges at speeds of up to 10 watts and is waterproof for use in the rain.
