Cycle2charge V3+ USB charger via hub dynamo
The holidays are approaching, and many people are looking forward to enjoying a wonderful cycling holiday at home or abroad. A common annoyance: you're just getting started and the battery in your phone, GPS, or navigation system is already dead. It's a bummer, especially since you don't feel like waiting for it to recharge, even if you can already charge it somewhere.
At Jongerius Handmade Bicycles we have the ideal solution for your new or existing bicycle: the Cycle2Charge.

Charge your phone with the Cycle2charge USB charger
Always a full phone battery with the Cycle2charge V3+
With the Cycle2Charge, you can use the power generated by the hub dynamo to charge your mobile device. This is done via a USB port on the handlebars.
Generate your own power and use it to charge your phone or navigation system while cycling! With the Cycle2Charge, you're guaranteed a reliable power supply during long journeys, and you can rest assured that your mobile phone, GPS, or MP3 player will last the entire ride.
You don't even have to cycle hard to charge your device; even at low speeds, the Cycle2Charge delivers sufficient power. It also protects the connected device from overvoltage.
Multiple mounting options on your handlebars
The Cycle2Charge is beautifully compact and looks great. With an Ahead stem, the Cycle2Charge integrates into the headset, so it doesn't take up any extra space on the handlebars. For adjustable and comfortable stems, we can mount the Cycle2Charge to the handlebars with a clamp, neatly concealing the cables.
The Cycle2charge also has a clever rotating mechanism that protects the USB connection from water, dust and dirt.

Afterwards or directly when purchasing the bicycle
The Cycle2charge can be ordered directly when purchasing the bike, but can also be easily installed later at our workshop.
For the wiring, we have developed our own cable duct for the front fork so that the lighting wiring and the wiring of the Cycle2charge are neatly separated.
Please contact our workshop to inquire about the possibility of retrofitting the Cycle2charge to your bicycle.
Technical details of the cycle2charge
For the Cycle2charge, we recommend first feeding the generated power into a power bank and then connecting your phone to it. This way, your phone receives a constant power supply and won't stop charging when you stop cycling.
- Universal due to the standard USB connection (Android, iPhone, Windows, GPS, etc.)
- Converts the energy from the hub dynamo to 5V USB charging voltage
- Maximum power: 1000 mA
- Already at 12 km/h up to 500 mA charging current (in accordance with the USB specification)
- At 21 km/h a charging current of 1000 mA
- Works best with a power bank. We recommend charging the power bank with the Cycle2charge and connecting your phone to the power bank.
