Neodrives simply remote
As an alternative to the Neodrives MMI display that has been mounted for years, Neodrives has been offering a new remote since the end of 2023.
The new Simply Remote 23 has the advantage of being better waterproof and offers a modular solution because you can combine the remote with an app or various types of displays.
The Simply remote is a fixed control that allows you to switch the bike on/off, turn on the lights, increase or decrease the level of assistance, and activate the push/walk assist.
To activate the walk function of the Neodrives Simply remote, press and hold the + button for 3 seconds, release it briefly, and then hold it down.
If you still have an old Neodrives MMI display, the Simply remote can also be retrofitted. However, a new cable will need to be installed through the frame to the battery docking station.

In addition to the existing Sigma Eox View display, which can be connected wirelessly to the Simply Remote via Bluetooth, Neodrives has also offered the option of installing a wired display since early 2025.
The Neodrives Simply display can be connected to the Simply Remote with a Y-cable upon purchase (or later). The Simply display is a fixed, non-detachable display with a high degree of customization.
The 2.5 inch colour display has excellent readability (even in bright sunlight) and is 100% waterproof and made in Germany.
A major advantage of this display is the ability to customize the screen to your liking, allowing you to decide which functions you want to display or not.
In addition to standard features like clock, daily distance, total distance, ride time, average speed, wattage, and range, you can also view detailed daily statistics. These statistics are very comprehensive, showing the start time of the ride and all the information about each ride (per day).
Neodrives Simply Ride App
With the Neodrives Simply Ride app you can easily connect your phone to the Simply remote.
You can easily adjust the five preset assistance levels via the app. These are set to 20, 40, 60, 80, or 100% assistance levels by default, but you can customize them to your preference. For example, setting level 1 to 10% gives you twice the range compared to the default 20% assistance level in level 1.
You can also use the app to lower the maximum speed per support level, update the software and see when the bike is due for maintenance.
You can also adjust the maximum speed of the walk assist and the contrast of the Remote.
The app can also turn your phone into a full-fledged alternative to a standard e-bike display. The app then shows you your riding speed, daily distance, total distance, range, and battery charge.
The Neodrives SimplyRide app is available for Android and iOS
